On our last night in Singapore, we treated ourselves to a real sushi dinner at Sushi Mieda. And for those sushi aficionados, this was my very first real and authentic sushi experience. So you'll have to bear with me when I say that this experience changed my perspective and expectations for sushi forever.

Los Loosers is a vegan, Mexican restaurant based in La Roma, Mexico City. Mariana is the owner, chef and manager. Every day she gets up early to go north of Mexico City to the wholesale food market to pick ingredients for a dish that day. Everything, down to the garnishes, is hand selected and meticulously filtered. Quality is the end game here.
Hangawi's warm aesthetics eases patrons back in time where focus was on the delicate balance of service and cuisine. The menu is wholly vegan Korean. Focus on the vegetables is reminiscent of the traditional harvest festival that the name implies.
